Marlin is a high school senior in New York passionate about protecting the environment, especially the ocean. He is a current NOAA Ocean Guardian Youth Ambassador and an EarthEcho International Marine Plastics Ambassador, and has previously worked with other environmental nonprofit organizations. YOI was founded by him to continue advocating for the ocean past a school club he created that was dedicated to a similar mission and into the greater world.

Ankur is a high school junior in Southern California who has a strong passion for the environment. He participates in different programs including Cool Irvine and is a NOAA Ocean Guardian Youth Ambassador. He is excited to work with YOI and continue helping protect the natural beauty of our oceans and our planet.

Grace is a high school junior living in New Jersey. Currently, she serves as a high school ambassador for The Climate Initiative and as a NOAA Ocean Guardian Ambassador. She hopes that working with YOI will help her to spread her message of advocacy and awareness towards plastic pollution reduction and marine biodiversity management.

Angela is a high school senior in New York who is excited to further contribute to the amazing climate and environmental initiatives that exist to protect our Earth, and specifically our Earth's oceans. She is currently volunteering for the Wildlife Conservation Society at the New York Aquarium, assisting in educational programs and inspiring people to value nature. She is eager to join a team of other passionate individuals and enable others to take initiative for the causes that they care about.

Additionally, she is a Youth Ambassador for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA). By working with YOI, she hopes to expand access to scientific research nationwide.

Fatemtuz is a high school senior in the state of New York passionate about creating a difference in the world. Although she doesn't have much experience working with ocean advocacy and education, she's determined to make the most of working with YOI to improve her skillsets and work with many influential organizations unanimously focused on bettering our seas.

Emerson, a high school senior in New York City, is passionate about advocating for environmental conservation. She recently participated in a program called GLA, where she was able to travel to Costa Rica to learn about marine conservation and strategies to help sea turtles. She's excited to expand her knowledge on conservation with other programs in the future and looks forward to working with YOI to advocate for and educate others about the ocean.

Growing up in a beach community, she has seen firsthand the unfortunate effects of plastic pollution on the ocean and beaches and is passionate about addressing this issue. Her favorite marine animals are sea turtles and the dumbo octopuses!

Sandy is a senior in a small school in California that is delighted to be part of an organization dedicated towards empowering voices of youth in means of oceanic awareness and conservation. This is her first time working with ocean related organizations and she is eager to learn more about her and her team's contributions in protecting marine ecosystems as she goes!
